yes, that’s correct. However we should not get confused betwen iPhone’s voice command feature with the V1′s built in voice command feature. To use the V1′s voice command, you will not need the iPhone OS 3.1. It worked even on the OS 2.x.

Now, with the V1, there’s a feature to access the phone’s own voice commands as well, which will only work when the iPhone is at least OS 3.1.

Just read on another form that to get your iPhone and blueant v1 to work so that you can use the iPhones voice dial function you need to upgrade your iPhone to 3.1

i’m having trouble getting the “phone command” of my blueant v1 to work with my iphone (with OS 3.0), can you give me more details on how to fix this?

v1 just hung and do nothing after the “phone command” phrase is said; the next time i press BAB again, v1 asks for instructions again…

I’m glad it worked for you David. Thanks for letting me know. I didn’t try enough to know which is the crucial step that solves the problem. My guess is resetting the V1, or just the combination of steps.

Thanks! This worked for me (the other suggestions I found on the web didn’t). I suspect the difference is forgetting the Blue Ant while both are connected? I emailed a link of this to a Blue Ant customer support guy.
